Residents and non-residents
- working in Slovenia are required to pay social security contributions on their gross salary in Slovenia or in the country of their employer after an E101 has been issued.
Social security rates for 2010:
- 8.85% for employers for pension insurance on gross earnings,
- 6.56% for employers for health insurance,
- 0.06% for employers for unemployment insurance,
- 0.10% for employers for maternity leave,
- 0.53% for employers for injury insurance,
- 15.50% for employees for pension insurance,
- 6.36% for employees for health insurance,
- 0.14% for employees for unemployment insurance,
- 0.10% for employees for maternity leave.
