Serbian Visas and Work Permits
Our tax guide for freelance contractors working in Serbia
Foreigners who want to work in Serbia and who do not need a visa to enter Serbia (most European countries) can come to Serbia, register at the local police department and can apply for temporary stay at the Secretariat of Internal Affairs in whose territory they have their registered place of abode. The following documents need to be presented: valid passport, completed application form, written acknowledgement of the registered place of abode, two photographs, written decision of the commercial court relating to the registration of the company; annual balance of operations and the current balance of the company, employment contract and a confirmation from the labour market authorities that the foreigner may take up employment. The procedure for granting permission for temporary stay usually takes up to 15 days.
