Residents and non-residents working in Lithuania are required to pay social security contributions on their gross salary in Lithuania or in the country of their employer after an E101 has been issued.
Social security rates for 2011:
- 3.00% pension insurance withheld by the employer on behalf of the employee,
- 6.00% health insurance contribution withheld by the employer on behalf of the employee.
