Do I need extra travel insurance?

Moving my belongings:
Before purchasing any supplementary insurance cover, a careful check should be made to see what is included on your existing policy contract. If you are using a moving company for the transfer of your personal belongings, furniture etc…, you should be covered for any losses or damage within your contract.

High risk activities:
If you are planning to take up high risk activities on your stay abroad, then advice should be taken to see if your existing policy covers such risks.  This could include off-piste skiing or extreme rock climbing.

Emergency rescue:
If you are travelling to any country which does not offer medical facilities at an acceptable level in case of emergency, then rescue evacuation insurance might be worth considering for repatriation.
